Immigrants, Refugees, and San Diego’s Urban Communities

The San Diego region is at the epicenter of the immigration and refugee conversation. Many feel we are at a crossroads regarding how we interact with immigrants and refugees making San Diego home. What is life like here for these new San Diegans? What do YOU, our public agencies, nonprofits, civic organizations, businesses – all of us – need to do together to ensure newcomers are integrated into our urban communities?On June 16, 2017, the RISE Urban Breakfast Club will host a conversation on Immigrants, Refugees, and San Diego's Urban Communities. The event will take place from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. in Celebration Hall at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center.Seating is limited. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased via Eventbrite.
